Product Description
This helpful friend will wake you up in the morning with lifelike sounds. Just set the clock in his collar and when the time comes, he'll get up and bark until you wake up. His soft body and huge puppy eyes make him hard to resist. Requires one button-cell and 3 "AAA" batteries, all included. Measures 10" tall.

Amazon.com Product Description
Any parent knows that getting a child out of bed on time to start their day can be difficult. Thankfully, MGA Entertainment has come up with an ingenious solution that lets kids take control. This sad-eyed chocolate Labrador puppy wears an alarm clock for a dog tag and wants your little one to rise and shine with a smile.

Kids can easily program the three-button device (hour, minute, mode) and then turn it on every night before going to sleep. The 10-inch-tall puppy will lay down until it's time to wake up their owner, at which time the adorable pooch sits up and starts barking. There are three modes of the lifelike bark: soft, excited, and loud. If your child is the type to need a gradual wake-up call, they can pat the Lab's head to activate the snooze feature. The required button-cell and three AAA batteries are included.

Being a helpful friend in the bedroom is just this puppy's way of saying thank you for adopting it. The dog comes with an adoption certificate that owners can fill out and a sticker for the front of the collar tag once you've chosen a name. Buying this useful alarm for kids also teaches them the joy of charity, as a portion of the proceeds of each Rescue Pet sold is donated to a recognized animal rescue center. 4 out of 5 stars Cute, fun way for kids to get up in the morning!   January 7, 2008

My 6yo daughter got this for Christmas (2007), and she loves it! As an animal lover, she enjoys having a dog for a clock. She now sets her alarm to get up for 1st grade, and is dressed before I even get up. It is a bit loud, so it can wake up siblings, so we make sure her door is cracked (almost shut) at night. I would definitely recommend this for a first alarm clock for any age that can read a digital clock.
