5 out of 5 stars Really, cute while not too immature   June 14, 2008
I was a bit worried that this book would be too immature for my tastes, but it ended up being a really good read. The story line is interesting and I liked the strong female protagonist who showed some weakness but wasn't an idiot. I liked the pirate tie-in... it kind of reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean.

5 out of 5 stars On the dot-To the point book   June 12, 2008

What I really love about this book is that it goes right to the point of the story. It doesn't lag behind and explain pointless info. as most books tend to do. There is just something about an interesting book that doesn't make you feel like your forced to turn every page in order to eventually get to something good. The plot is very simple in the beginning and eventually gets more and more layers to it. It is impossible to put down, I finnished it the first day I bought it. You won't be dissapointed. It's really hard to find books that begin interesting and stay that way through out, but this one is. Though to be completely honest, I really hope there's a sequal. The ending of the book seems like a brand new beginning(it's a good idea to read the prologue of the book to understand it all the more-don't worry it's not boring-).

5 out of 5 stars So good my boyfriend even read it in a day!   April 7, 2008

At first it seemed a little cheesy, but what pirate story doesn't? It starts off fantastically with Anna trapped by the handsome pirate James. The story wasn't predictable, though you could sense something was going to happen. I finished this in two days, and then gave it to my boyfriend. He'd laughed about reading a girly pirate book. The next day he gave me back the book and I thought he wasn't going to read it but then he grinned. "I finished it in 3 hours." If my boyfriend liked it, you're bound to enjoy it!

2 out of 5 stars Eh...   April 5, 2008
This book was kind of just a tacky romance novel. I didnt think it was very good.

4 out of 5 stars Good Clean Fun   March 21, 2008
I just finished this book and yes, it was a short, quick read. But it was fun. I was a little hesitant when I saw that it was classified as a "Romance" novel. I was expecting heaving boosoms and whatever. Instead I got a fun read about a girl, a pirate with a dream, and a kiss. I'm not sure that this would classify as great literature or anything, but if you've got an afternoon to kill, it's worth a look.
